A good friend will bail you out of jail, but your best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying "that was f***ing awesome"

Isn't Trump suing to try and get the voter rolls, which is against the constitution?

30% of growth not 30% of prices. Even if it were, his math is still wrong.

Whew, good catch. For a minute there I thought home prices were being impacted by illegals, thanks for clearing that up…
@boogie yes, the meme is inaccurate and the opposite of the truth WRT voter rolls. The DOJ is suing the states for not releasing their voter rolls to them. Also, not all of them are democrat-led states. If I was SecState/Governor of a state, I'd tell the feds to pound sand on this too. It's the state's job to maintain state voter rolls, not the federal governments. Also, I'm a state's rights Republican - the overreach of the federal government in this administration is ridiculous.

Yes, several states have sued the federal government. A coalition of about 23 Democratic-led states, plus Pennsylvania’s governor, filed a lawsuit in early April 2026 against Trump’s executive order on mail-in voting and creating a national voter eligibility list. They argue it illegally interferes with states’ constitutional authority over elections.
In the separate DOJ voter data cases, it’s mostly the feds suing the states — not the other way around. But the states are fighting back hard in court, with many winning dismissals so far.
