@dbmhoosier 1 in 12 out on scrams in cook county are mia. it's absolutely unfathomable. but these people will continue to vote for progressives play victims then wonder why things aren't getting better. when the electorate is stupid, at the local level to state and federal level how can we possibly hope things will improve

Johnson for some reason is down in Springfield trying to queer the Arlington Heights deal.
He’s not even going to be mayor for much longer, I’m not sure why he cares. He’s also from Elgin, that’s basically Iowa.
Pritzker seems like he’s finally rallied the statehouse enough to get this thing done. But if it’s not done in this legislative session, fuck it, stay at soldier field, or move to Indiana.
The last three years has been an embarrassment of state and municipal governance. And the Bears aren’t blameless either, their leadership is hapless.
