@mcm666 in the clip I saw he was asked about gun violence and school shootings. He responded with something about gang violence right before it happened. Who knows, both could have been faked. Terrible, regardless.

@zeke4ahs Pritzker is a pig. Invoking Jan 6. Trying to yabbut Trump who has been shot at twice.  My tolerance for progressives is about exhausted. Hollywood freaks. Pos politicians.  This guy has two babies.  Going around to campuses doing things the right way.  Talk. Debate.  Prove. Me. Wrong. Brilliant. Town halls.  And he gets murdered.  Disgusting

assuming you’re talking about Kirk, he responded asking, in the context of mass shootings, whether we are including gang violence in the numbers. He brought up the trans shooter “epidemic” (ymmv on that one) as he probably usually does. It was a back and forth (you know, a debate) with a college student.

Conspiracy Theory is one of my favorite Mel Gibson films.

I feel like I've seen that, but don't recall much of anything about it. Was this a part of of the plot?

It's been a while, but basically, brainwashed assassins don't realize they are assassins, and they are programmed to be obsessed with Catcher in the Rye, I think because that's how their organization keeps tabs on them. Also, Patrick Stewart is the bad guy.

I had no idea he even knew who Charlie Kirk was.

Heck, I barely know who he was. If it wasn't for this place, I wouldn't have known. I just don't follow any of these influencers, right or left.

I knew who he was and what he did only because I have a conservative kid currently in college.

Sad day. The man hurt no one

This is why everyone who is not a loon needed to, and should now even more, push back against the woke nonsense that "silence is violence" or that "words can be violence" from the beginning. And yes, it's a real thing:

Why did you cherry pick this part of my post to respond to? You completely ignored the substance of my point.

You said violence was a both sides problem and I am part of the problem because I state divisive opinions.  I  reject all of it. Violence in response to clearly stated strong opinions is substantially a left problem. Expressing political opinions shouldn’t lead to violence at all.

Man, did you misread that. I didn't say you were part of the problem because you state divisive opinions. I said you were part of the problem because you were dishonestly promoting a narrative (and continue to do so) that this type of violence is "substantially a left problem." We can't fix the problem if we only blame it on the other side. We have to accept that it is "an American problem."

Mark Kelly's message to fellow Democrats is a start. Now, let's see someone on the right make a similar move.

I found out about this via text from my son in school.  I had no idea he even knew who Charlie Kirk was.

He said he heard a lot of kids happy about it, cheering the killing.  I told him that they are young and stupid and don’t understand the world, but if I ever heard he did that about someone, I’d tan his hide.

His response? What’s tan his hide mean?

Apparently, Kirk’s wife and kids were on the campus at the time.  Not sure if they were at the event.

Watch his clips, and get back to us.

Sincere, empathetic, honest, scientific, documented...

Allowed shitlibs to simply dig their own holes of stupidity.  Then politely corrected/dismissed them.

A model of how to do it.

I know him and have watched his clips. It's my son who I was surprised knew him. I'm not sure how much he's seen of him.

@oneeyedundertaker uh…I’m responding to someone who mentioned the Republican ones. I didn’t feel it necessary to repost that.

@bradstevens minion’s mom thinks he’s fantastic. Huge fan of him and his family.  Ex wife “big gun advocate.  That’s what ya get.”

it’s just remarkable how divided we are as a country.  And almost evenly so.  And forever we never knew. There wasn’t an outlet.  Until social media. Now our division is announced with a blowhorn.

I stand by what I always say. The latest tech has not improved our lives. Gates and all the rest have made our lives worse.  COH lived the best of times

If we can’t openly have discourse…what have we got? That’s what Kirk did. He encouraged discourse on topics that hold society together. And he did it openly.
