I’m talking about the killing problem. How am I part of it?

I'm talking about the problem of widening the divide. You forgot what happened in Minnesota I presume? Perfectly innocent oversight on your part? I doubt it. I think you are purposefully composing and joining in the narrative that this is a left only problem, and not an American discourse problem. And that makes you part of the problem.

@stollcpa exactly. I don’t think his killer thought he was a threat to democracy or a fascist or racists, sexist, whatever the word of the day is.

I think Kirk was picked and killed because he was effective. The tip on the spear for the youth Conservative movement that a lot of people credit with swinging 2024.

Nah.

If it was a pro hit, they wouldn't do it out in public.

This was a group of shitlibs...more than one.  I'd be suspicious of the guy that asked the trans shooter question as a lead in.

@mattndallas I didn’t say it was a professional hit

@mattndallas that timing doesn’t seem coincidental

All of that could be true, but it's wild speculation at this point. It could be a matter of proximity/convenience. John Lennon's murderer had people higher on his hit list (including Johnny Carson and Paul McCartney), he picked Lennon because he felt like he was the most accessible. He was also influenced by the book 'Catcher in the Rye.'

None of that was known in the day or so after Lennon was shot.

I'm not making any assumptions about motive at this point.

Not everyone on Twitter makes shit up. This seems like pretty solid deductive work.

Conspiracy Theory is one of my favorite Mel Gibson films.

I agree with your sentiment...

but I think this was an amateur Antifa-like hit with a couple of conspirators, not Deep State.

They weren't worried about Kirk's demographic ability to sway young voters.

They viewed him as a racist/fascist etc that needed to be "vaporized" as one shitlib put it.

More than one channel has had an expert stress that if the building under suspicion is correct, then this was not an overly difficult shot for someone with even a decent amount of rifle practice.

(The roof was about 200 yards from where Kirk was sitting.)

At this moment, motive doesn't matter in saying the suspect deserves the most severe penalty allowed.

But we do need to wait on motive. Remember Reagan? The motive had nothing to do with politics. It may be a crazed leftie, it may just be someone crazed. Nothing is gained wildly guessing.

So if we say the motive was to shoot/ kill another person. Can we jump past your vanilla sugar coating? Or should we wait to pass judgment on murder?
seems pretty simple to me.

Clearly there was intent to murder, duh. Sherlock Holmes could use that insight. But why murder him. Again, after Reagan was shot I remember a lot of belief it was a crazed liberal.

I am not saying it wasn't, it might be. But historically most assassination attempts in the US are simple crazy people.

Many social media responses have been abhorrent but let us recall some percentage are bots and others foreigners who want to foster discontent. It almost certainly isn't as bad as it looks. Though even one American suggesting "good" is awful.
