Angry people vote. A higher percentage of dems likely made it out to vote this year vs what is normal. That combined with Paxton being complete trash is likely the reason for a purple Texas.
Both sides tend to have higher turnout in presidential elections. Texas is more than likely going back to red.

It is a trap, no way Texas goes back to all red in 28 since the governor won't be up in 28. Smart move not to take it.
I said only for the elections that are happening each cycle. 28 would be just for the President and one Senate seat. I would want some odds though. For 30 straight years the GOP won all 4. And if it's JusT BECausE of TruMp it should be a no brainer because Trump is gone 😉
@snarlcakes this new Gov is going to turn Texas into a sanctuary state, combine that with a Dem in ‘28 reopening the border and you have a similar formula that turned California.
