@carramrod I think Rubio would be preferred. Something weird about Vance.  Super smart guy but just not relatable

He is a highly skilled politician but the more you watch him the more you see how he has a propensity to dance around inconvenient issues. On Epstein, on Iran, on AI. He’s good at it and knows how to disarm the audience he’s in front of.

Maybe that’s a function of him being out of step with his boss and understanding he cannot under any means be seen to undercut him.

Rubio is as direct a politician as I’ve seen in some time, which is refreshing.

The Vance that wrote Hillbilly Elegy which I think could fairly be described as extolling the importance of Personal agency in upward mobility, warning of learned helplessness and advocating for meritocracy, would not recognize the guy speaking today.

I think you can extol personal virtues, while recognizing political realities of why masses of people flock to a particular movement based on economic circumstances.  I think Vance is kinda right about that--both Trump's base and the DSA people are looking for solutions to macroeconomic trends that have changed their circumstances and they believe a politician can change them.  The reality is, unfortunately, that nobody can.

@carramrod you can certainly see how the next election is being framed.  very ayn randesque

creators vs takers

wealthy, small biz owners, nailpounders, cops, etc vs immigrants, blacks (cori bush now a socialist here), academics, alphabet people, hollywood, and young people.

who has the most numbers.  i don't know

Unlikely that even moderate Dems will hold their nose & vote for a Rubio or a Vance.  Considering the massive mobilization of the leftist consortium of Muslims, Socialists, & other degenerates the best we can hope for is that the moderate Dems just decide not to vote.  Not sure enough Repubs turn out to vote.  The fact that over half of the Muslims that ran for office won is a harbinger of doom as they’ve figured out that they can make the people they want to throw off of buildings put them in power.  I have stated here before & firmly believe, Mamdani doesn’t care about Socialism, he just uses that as a tool to get dummies to vote for him.  Wanna make a wager on what starts happening with the properties he’s setting up for seizure in NYC, or should I say who gets ownership & control of them?

When will some radicalized leftie try to shoot him?

The left gets more violent weekly. And when challenged, their answer is “but Trump” and “burn it down”

I dislike Trump. I fear the radical left.

 JD Vance looks like he walked out of Madame Tussauds wax museum. He looks fake.

The irony of fearing guns in the hands of a few left loonies.

@oneeyedundertaker

McGovern won Massachusetts if I recall correctly. Mandami winning the New York city is no different. If the Democrats nominate a socialist, they’ll get obliterated in the main election.

I’m no electoral historian but my impression is whenever there is an obliterating landslide it’s the Republicans winning. Obama won by a lot, but it wasn’t anything comparable too the way some Democrats get massacred.

High income/ low education = Republican.

@bar-down

my point is simple. If push comes to shove, and this beloved country of ours falls into a revolution, which side is gonna have more ammo?

The leftist extremist will look like Swiss cheese.

I won't vote for War Hawk Rubio who also seems quite aligned with the Zionist Israel FF's that are so aligned with the biggest terrorist regime in the world.  My pecking order would be Massey then JD.  The only way my vote would go to rubio is to sell it off and be someone's proxy.  I won't take money from a Socialist so no money could get my vote for any democrat.

Trump will want his face in the news so he will certainly endorse someone.  He won't want to take a step back from the public eye o events like trying to ruin Spain's World Cup photo.

Soros and the other Commie Dacha Democrats will buy them plenty of weapons.

How many Democrat softball game practices have been shot up? How many lefty speakers have been shouted down on a campus? Or shot dead on a campus?

The left has been out of control for a decade. They sell trite phrases to the stupid (“silence is violence”) and sit quiet when the radicalized violence they seek becomes real.

The Left has created thousands of John Wilkes Booth-wannabes, and people who publicly celebrate the death of political opponents, and now want to claim their rhetoric was just meaningless words. There is no depravity the Street Left will not support - from murder of health care execs and college street preachers, to telling a family “we are glad your family member is dead.”

And the “hate on steroids” race-baiting has now started to have the worst possible result.

We are already lost. I see no other reality.

@myteamisonthefloor and soros is the bank behind it. In many ways it’s brilliant. You can impact so many lives funding local races without a ton of money.  100 mil impacts a shit ton of counties

The Zionists are always fucking with me. Just the other day a Zionist shat in my yard and threw eggs at my window while screaming Genesis 12:7.
