Wow. This might be an actual speech from Atlas Shrugged:

@bradstevens is it in Spanish? Is this an actual post or just an I speak Spanish humble brag?
@bradstevens no lies were told. Rubio has turned into my animal spirit. Non Spanish video below for the gringos.

Lol. Txt was translated on Twitter. Video is in English.@bradstevens is it in Spanish? Is this an actual post or just an I speak Spanish humble brag?
@snarlcakes my god this is absolute 🔥. I want him to run not jd. Brilliant. And yes Brad very ayn Rand ish
@snarlcakes Rubio/Desantis would be my dream ticket. I do like Vance too though…
Politically, I understand why he’s doing this and I like the direction of pushing back on the excesses of the Left.
But . . .
I wish he’d focus or make explicit he’s talking about ideas and not focus on people. This seems like just the flip side of “the deplorable.”
And while it is true that a material % of far left people satisfy his description, I think a material % do not. Rhetoric like this drives people apart and makes them dig their heels in deeper. I don’t think that’s a long term good for the nation.
Three examples of past socialists who contradict Rubio: George Orwell, Chris Hitchens, and Thomas Sowell.
@bradstevens those days are forever gone. Sadly. The modern milieu is to galvanize those who align with your ideology with a blowhorn. Otherwise you get no oxygen

That's quite a contrast to Vance's mealy mouthed "Well when you don't give the young folks an avenue, of course they'll turn to socialism" or "AI gains can't just go to a few people at the top" on Rogan this week.
Maybe I'm reading into things too much but it looks like battle lines are being drawn. On Iran, on redistributionism, etc.
Are we absolutely sure Rubio won't run if Vance runs?
I think this speech tells you that you should not be sure of that.Wow. This might be an actual speech from Atlas Shrugged:

@carramrod I think Rubio would be preferred. Something weird about Vance. Super smart guy but just not relatable

He is a highly skilled politician but the more you watch him the more you see how he has a propensity to dance around inconvenient issues. On Epstein, on Iran, on AI. He’s good at it and knows how to disarm the audience he’s in front of.
Maybe that’s a function of him being out of step with his boss and understanding he cannot under any means be seen to undercut him.
Rubio is as direct a politician as I’ve seen in some time, which is refreshing.
The Vance that wrote Hillbilly Elegy which I think could fairly be described as extolling the importance of Personal agency in upward mobility, warning of learned helplessness and advocating for meritocracy, would not recognize the guy speaking today.
@carramrod you can certainly see how the next election is being framed. very ayn randesque
creators vs takers
wealthy, small biz owners, nailpounders, cops, etc vs immigrants, blacks (cori bush now a socialist here), academics, alphabet people, hollywood, and young people.
who has the most numbers. i don't know

I don’t think Trump will anoint a successor and will let whoever jumps in duke it out for the most part.
But I think if you put a gun to his head and made him choose he’d tell you:
“Actually, being a President is the most dangerous job around when you think about it, just think about it, 9% of Presidents have been killed, that’s more than cops that’s more than military, it’s really a very dangerous job”
And then he’d pick Rubio.

Just close your eyes and take in every last word and smile.
