Probability is likely still lowish, maybe 25%, but not exactly zero, after last night's simply awesome performance.
Guessing whomever votes on it will lean Brunson since he always has the ball in his hands and OG is more like their superstar third option role player.
Dislike everything Knicks, them winning the Title causes some nasty heartburn, but able to silo that hate long enough to appreciate OGs NBA ascension and his MVP Finals performance.
Going into the way back machine, Isiah won the 1990 Finals MVP leading my favorite team of all time.
Much greater than 25% assuming the Knicks go on to the title.
As Towns said, he's the best two-way player in the league, and that's never been more evident than during this series.
If the Knicks lost last night, all of the momentum would have been with the Spurs. Instead, OG carried the team on his back and saved the series for the Knicks.

Love OG and hate the Knicks though the Knicks don't really have any players (liek a Dort or a gobert) that make you hate them. Maybe Brunson but because of his dad not him. Happy for OG but they haven't won 4 games and th spurs seemed to be their own worst enemy. So many mistakes and so many quick shots from 3 when they quit falling. Fox missing and open layup with less than 10 seconds when he could of instead pulled it out and ran the clock. OG would have been denied if someone would of blocked him or just interrupted his path to the tip in. Spurs coach is learning too. Pop would of lambasted them in the early third for taking those quick 3's and made them attack the paint. Of course they hit them in the 1st half so keep shooting them but when the well runs dry attack the paint. Harper just turned 20 and has been unstoppable in the paint for the most part.
In 5-10 years, people will be glad the Knicks won this series if they can in fact do it because it seems the Spurs have a real dynasty brewing unlike those dynasties that Denver, Boston and OKC were annointed to be. Experience is hurting them now and they need a PF. Champ, Castle, Harper, Wemby, and Bryant are 24 and younger. Fox, Vassell and Keldon johnson in their prime. They will probably need trade Vassel or K johnson to get a real PF. Not convinced the Spurs still won't pull this off. IMO, Harper is going to become a yearly all nba player. Castle will be a yearly 1st team defensive player and he is not even the best defensive player on his team.
Glad I haven’t watched a second of the NBA this year! I can’t stand the product anymore! With that said, I don’t give a crap who wins it! The only reason I’d say the Knicks is that if they win, maybe their idiotic trashy fan base will burn MSG to the ground! That’s all I’d hope for!
@sig this is the last good chance for the Knicks to win it all. I think you're spot in with the Spurs. That's a young team that is going to have a lot of success over the next decade if they can keep everyone happy and add some fresh talent in back half of this window they have.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

Wasn't OG and Thomas Bryant on Crean's teams at the same time? It's a shame he couldn't put it together. Would've liked to have him for Archie's tenure.
I'm glad NY won even though I hate the team. They always talked so much smack but never won an NBA championship. We can thank Jordan for that. And also why the Pacers never won one with Miller.

Herm Schaefer?? Never heard that name. Or Ron Horn.
Didn’t McGinnis also win a couple ABA championships with Slick Leonard as the coach? The complete list of former Hoosiers who have won at least one NBA championship includes: [1]
