Don't expect Miami (Ohio) to hang long against Tennessee. The Vols physicality is causing many problems.
I can see both sides. It was basically a heave, so it's not like he got a decent look. On the other hand, there was an SC player who could have committed a reach-in foul at midcourt with 1-1.5 seconds remaining. What are the odds Kentucky makes the first FT, then scores on a miss in one second? Not sure how you look at a contested bank shot 3 in transition with no time left from 35+ feet and think the smart play was to foul.
Also, no timeout was called after SC buried the 3, so it was chaos. I'm sure the SC coach laid out what to do in different scenarios during the final timeout, but the D didn't have time to set up. Maybe fouling was the plan.
Anyhow, it's moronic to blame the coach. Kentucky's chances were slim either way; they simply beat the odds.
Miami living up to my original expectations after they changed my mind in Dayton. They need a barrage of 3s and to stop turning it over.

Dew It.

The NCAAT has lost much of its luster for me, whether IU is in it or not. Pre-Portal, I could name at least three starters on most teams seeded 1 thru 5. Now, I'm not sure I could do so for any team outside the B1G.
I am with you I watched some last night and have looked at scores at work but it is nothing like it used to be for me. I used to always take a day off work to watch the first round but not anymore. I honestly I could probably only name one starter on Duke and maybe two on Uconn. The portal really destroyed my interest level and why I forgot the names of the two injured IU guys for long time there is just no connection to these guys anymore. BYU is an example you used to have players in their fifth year because of a mormon mission. Now I bet almost their whole starting lineup is just their for a quick paycheck. We know for sure one guy is.
Utah St. Calhoun runs a very patient offense. Pretty disciplined.

still,
they would have smoked us
@ge-off …..he just signed a contract extension….not that it matters these days.
Congrats to Braden Smith for being the assist leader in college basketball. I was hoping he would get the record and then PU would lose the game but it wasn't meant to be.
While I regarded God as a tyrant I thought my sin a trifle; But when I knew Him to be my Father, then I mourned that I could ever have kicked against Him. When I thought God was hard, I found it easy to sin; but when I found God so kind, so good, so overflowing with compassion, I smote upon my breast to think that I could ever have rebelled against One who loved me so, and sought my good.” C. I had high hopes for the Billikens, but if they don't come out of this timeout and get it back to single digits, it's probably over.

Michigan is an elite team. Dusty may was one heck of a hire for them as he is going to be elite

Outstanding. All that's missing is either of them getting into it with a bystander.

Sean Miller is 20 minutes from taking Texas to the Sweet Sixteen in his first season there. Gonzaga is perpetually over seeded.
