I know Kentucky has dealt with injuries, but (reportedly) $22M for 14 losses (assuming ISU drops them in Round 2)--after 12 losses last season--is not good.
I'm sure those wingnut fans in Lexington aren't too thrilled with MP. Had Santa Clara won--which they probably should have--there might have been an uprising. He would have been back regardless of today's result--two NCAAT bid seasons, large buyout, alum--but his seat will be hotttt in '26-'27 (barring a deep run).
Seeing some stuff online bitching about Santa Clara not fouling. Not sure how you look at a contested bank shot 3 in transition with no time left from 35+ feet and think the smart play was to foul. Sucked to be Santa Clara celebrating and then having to play OT.
