@hoosiers94 he’s not a good, B10 level center. I’d still like to see him playing alongside one. No reason not to try to play him alongside Alexis, at this point…at some point. But he has largely been a bust, yes.
@hoosiers94 yes we have all hashed that point out. Either he was unable to land all the guys he wanted, or, he took the best available. We were able to get Lamar over UK, so maybe his other target went elsewhere? I’m very sure he didn’t just choose an entire team of mid major talent.

Took a look at a few other boards. Plenty of people seem to think that he is just going to massively upgrade the talent and all will be well next year. Delusions or reality time will tell. Talent level may improve but im.guessing only if we have the coin to overpay.

@arioznahoosier4554 All we can do is wait and see what the future brings. This season was a disappointment. If the roster is upgraded, we'll see if DeVries can coach them to higher achievement. If the roster doesn't end up much better, no reason to think the results will change.

Correct. However, I am not sure that as many seem to think the roster will be greatly improved. That will take alot more money and smarter decision making. We cannot be giving guys l like Bailey the money we did and expect to be top six in the big ten.

Well they are going to need to nail it they basically have to put a brand new roster together again. Dorn is not an NBA player like some facebook guys claimed. He had two good games and that was it. Sisley does not play. So we literally return nothing to speak of going to need a whole new starting five again most likely.
I'm hoping for a smart discussion or explanation to this question, but I expect that won't be the case.
What defense did we play most of the day against MSU? Was it a triangle and 2? We started out switching everything and getting Enright buried against one of their bigs, just like we ended the Northwestern game, but then we switched to some sort of zone, but there were guys playing man as well. I just couldn't figure out exactly what it was.
