That was some ugly chit. We are slower, smaller, and cant shoot.
Other than that.
FINAL:
Illinois 71
Indiana 51
That circus shot was against Bailey. Fitting.
@drjb 51 points ain’t beating nobody! Not a good day to go ice cold shooting. Only had 8 to, and, considering the size disparity, rebounded decent- too many offensive boards though-
just means we will be on fire at Purdue!
very disappointing performance today. Bad matchup against a really good team. But an opportunity to take a step forward with any sort of competitive game. And it really wasn’t competitive, at all. Metrics take hits when your eyes show you how lopsided it is. NCAA implications aside, just very disappointing to not have something more for this machup.

Been saying that all year ...
this is really a game where shots just aren’t falling
to be fair Illinois is a nightmare matchup for us
long, tall and athletic ......
I'm surprised we've kept it this close
Needed to keep it closer to 10 points to be respectable.
what did they have, about 20 offensive rebounds?
10pt spread or so maybe if the game were in btown
but I doubt it
Did Wilkerson even attempt a shot in the final 10 minutes? Coaching malpractice.
Seems like a third of our team doesnt play. Even in a blowout.
What does that say to the team? That certain guys are safe no matter what?
Given, not earned.

This game embodied the program over the last decade. I don’t think you will find a program that so perfectly defines mediocrity.

Season low turnovers also, two for the game I think.

and a fan base for the most part that's fallen in love with the mediocre

Meanwhile, Michigan will be ranked #1 in the country tomorrow. Thanks Quinn!
