You know what sucks about living a half hour from Champaign? I can smell the sh-t IU is dropping on the court.
Hoosiers have started very poorly this half. Down 12 and lost their challenge on a turnover.
Bailey just gets abused down low. Weaker than @the-leal-deal insult game.
Indiana responded well to cut the lead to 7 but Illinois has three straight layups and are right back ahead by 13 points.
Tough to win when only one guy came to play. LM should shoot every trip down the floor. Not even joking a little.
Miles attended my undergrad alma mater, so I have that going for me.
IU had cut it to 7 with some offense from Lamar, but IU just can't stop Illinois on the glass. It doesn't help that Nick Dorn is ice cold either. Boswell hit a layup to put Illinois up 49-36 and IU takes a time out.
Indiana has gotten good looks but can't get anything to drop from the perimeter. The Hoosiers are now 4-19 from three and trailing by 16.
Under 12 MTO and IU is getting pounded 54-38. It's 16-7 Illinois in the second half. IU has not hit a three in the second half while Wilkerson has all 7 of IU's points.
Not a bad half for IU, but it feels like they're teetering on the edge. I think the first 4-5 minutes will tell us a lot.
