Illinois finally missed some shots but, as you'd expect to be a problem in this game, they are killing IU on the glass. Enright draws a charge but IU trails 25-32.

Jasai Miles with a VERY poor decision to attack with 18 seconds left instead of holding for the last shot. He missed a layup and Illinois got an open three but thankfully missed it. The Illini lead 38-31 but as well as they shot for the first 12 minutes of that half, IU is hanging in there. It will take the Hoosiers best 20 minutes of the season just to have a shot.

The Illinois size is killing IU. A number of times the taller Illinois players simply reach over the shorter Hoosiers for a rebound.
Not a bad half for IU, but it feels like they're teetering on the edge. I think the first 4-5 minutes will tell us a lot.
@tjinman1987 DeVries has his reasons but Miles is getting the minutes over Sisley. Based on earlier season performance, I'd expected Sisley to play a larger role in these later season games.
@gthomas I agree GT. If the Hoosiers fail to play tough for the initial 5 or so minutes of the 2nd half we may be looking at a blowout.
