Bailey's play tonight makes me want gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork.
Some of these fouls, especially Lamar's first and this one on Conerway, are just silly give up plays. Now Lamar is sitting with 2 and Woods is shooting 2 after being fouled 90 feet from the hoop.
Really rough stretch to end the first half, mainly after Wilkerson went to the bench with 2 fouls. IU trails 35-30 and USC had eight offensive rebounds while shooting 8 more FTs. If Indiana doesn't get some production from Tucker DeVries and Nick Dorn in the second half, they will not win this game.
Why does it take two minutes to review such an obvious play?
Fouls seem a bit one-sided IMO. Bailey nearly got his head knocked off and no whistle, clean block I guess.
Refs have clearly been one-sided so far! USC is allowed to jump over the back every possession! Bailey has been getting clobbered by that Shawn Bradley lookn center while he breathes on someone and the whistle blows! Seems like most of our players are already in foul trouble! Smh🙄
That was a pretty awful half. Lucky to only be down 5. Just have to be smarter with how they attack, and stop giving them points at the line with stupid, giveaway fouls.
I hope CDD is blistering them right now. He certainly gave Bailey an earful a couple times. Hes so good for a minute or two…ama then he’s sooooo soft for a minute or two. Alexis isn’t really any better right now, is the problem.
ill be surprised if we win this one. USC is very good at guarding the 3. I don’t think we can beat them without hitting a bunch of 3s in the 2nd half.
IU had massive momentum coming into this game. Need to get things right in the final 20.
But ...
... if not, let's have perspective: Nearly everyone would have taken 2-1 against Purdue and LA.
HALFTIME: USC 36 IU 30 Wilkerson started hot with 13 points, but two fouls put him on the bench and no one else has really stepped up on offense. USC has shot 9 more FTs than IU and outscored IU 9-0 on second chance points.

If the Academy handed out an Oscar for fouling, someone from IU would be giving an acceptance speech right now.
