USC makes their first 7 shot attempts and takes a 16-10 lead but IU battles back and now trail just 15-16. Tayton Conerway is at least going to be able to give IU some minutes, he checked in (IU had two straight turnovers afterwards) and got a rebound plus assist for a Wilkerson three.
Have we ever won with wearing these crappy black uniforms? Ugly AF! Need to stop with that crap!
Bailey back to normal. You know. God awful.
USC went on a 6-0 run to turn a 17-16 deficit into a 17-22 lead, Trent Sisley responded with a big three-pointer to cut it to 22-20 as we head to the third MTO of the first half. Lamar Wilkerson got a nice break and should be back on the court when action resumes.
How much for TD?
another empty possession
@tjinman1987 I've never understood the idea of a team being fatigued because they played a game a few days prior. These are 18-22 year old athletes in peak condition. I used to play hours nearly everyday at that age and I dont ever remember telling myself I was tired from the previous day.
Bailey has woken up after a missed layup that he should've slammed home. Wilkerson has 2 fouls (one was a dumb reach that is just a give up play), but he has 13 points.
USC 29 IU 28
Indiana trails 28-29 at the final MTO of the first half. Lamar Wilkerson had a dumb foul at midcourt that he just cannot take, he's too important for this team. Sure enough, he picked up number two with just less than six minutes remaining in the half and headed to the bench. Reed Bailey with an emphatic dunk after coming back in for Alexis (also with two fouls) off a nice pass from Enright and then Enright draws a charge.
This game is an ugly grind thus far
I can see why USC struggles with attendance. Hard to watch
Bailey is soft as a grape my god.
