Thanks for the research.

But we are Exhibit A on why the field shouldnt expand. Unless the spots go to non-power conferences.

I always want the Hoosiers in. But reading our recent history feels like being taunted by an opposing fanbase... - The whittle hoosiers want to make the tourney? We can expand and whittle Indiana can get a ribbon. -

I would rather watch high energy teams like High Point beat Wisconsin and Farleigh Dickinson beating Purdue than watch mediocre Indiana teams and other power conference underachievers make the field and flounder.

The days of ncaa big upsets are most likely over thanks to the NIL and unlimited transfer rule. The last few years its been all top seeds in the final four. Any smaller program can no longer keep a team together for four years if a  guy has a huge year a bigger program will simply offer him bags of cash and he will leave.
