@ge-off Yeah it did hit me that this coaching staff hasn’t had much time to build relations. And it doesn’t seem like the last staff was too concerned about that.
Yes his approach to coaching and recruiting for Indiana was just all wrong. Still pisses me off. Big lost opportunity.
I posted on another thread, but didn’t see any answers. Does anyone have any idea of high school players we are in on? I don’t recall hearing a single name. I know we’ve had all the portal excitement, and the freshmen coming in look to be an upgrade, but we’ve got to start making our moves with the high school kids. I know Purdue is hoping for a commitment from the Pike big soon. Did we recruit him?
The Daily Hoosier has a list of '27 offers. 15 in total, all in the top 100 of 247's ratings except for a guy who was #105. Only 1 guy from Indiana listed--Jason Gardner Jr. from Fishers, 6'0". The only other PG target mentioned was a 6'3" kid out of MD, Lyons. There was 1 6-11 kid, 2 6 -10 kids, 1 6- 9, and 2 6-7 kids, both styled as power forwards. Also 7 combo guards, shooting guards, or shooting forwards.
