A 10 gallon handle like Darius Wabbington is worth an extra 6 figure payment or two on the NIL.

As expected, Darius Wabbington apparently had a great visit to Bloomington. This really feels like an Arizona vs. IU battle for the five-star big man. The Wildcats have long been considered the slight favorite in this recruitment but Indiana is making it interesting.
@tjinman1987 Branham and someone like Wabbington, to go along with the many guys that could return next year... As long as this season is a solid step forward, adding guys like them to a solid returning core, and next year could have contender type vibes.
It takes some balls to go after a five star in Arizona’s backyard.

If Cal, Matta, Izzo, Roy, etc can constantly come into Indiana and steal our 5 star recruits why can't we do the same?

Those coaches won at a very high level. I didn’t say IU shouldn’t recruit in Arizona’s backyard, just that it takes some guts given how good the Wildcats have been.
Old rule of sales, 'if you're not messing around in your competitors backyard he's damn sure got time to be in yours'.
Sure sounds like Wabbington is going to Illinois.
