UNC, probably Notre Dame, maybe Kansas, probably not Kentucky, but fans would hope. Syracuse, Providence. Maybe there aren’t enough elite basketball coaches out there? Some of these guys are going to have to take a chance on no names.
Syracuse and Providence have already hired coaches.
The Providence coach had an all time great line in his introductory presser. Something along the lines of "If you have any questions about my recruiting abilities, just take a look at my wife Jordan."
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

And UNC is swinging for the fences for their hire it seems. Something we know nothing about
@hoosiers94 We've swung... but we've missed. We'll see if they can connect any different than we have. Hubert Davis being their coach for 6 years is a sign they've had similar issues luring away big names...just like Kentucky did, like Louisville did, like Arizona did... all those schools went big game hunting, they all had to settle for less than what they went after. Its worked out quite well for one of them, very blah for the other 2. UNC, with Jordan, could be a different animal though. We'll see.
Should add to the talent pool coming from high P4 schools.

because we hold back. We don't go all in ... we don't drive the brinks truck up

It would be interesting to see what happened if we had offered Otz or Dusty what we offered Stevens plus elite NIL guarantees. But the donors were only willing to shell out the big bucks for Brad.

then they didn't talk to the right donors. And I know 4 pretty high level donors. They would have done so for May I don't know about Otz
@hoosiers94 Seem to recall the discussion about Otz on the old board, before Devries was hired, was decidedly mixed. Though would not swear I'm remembering right. He was 29–30 (.492) overall at UNLV and didn't really seem to set the house on fire out of the box at Iowa State until 23-24 season, though made the tournament every year with a couple of Sweet 16s.
@hoosiers94 Oh come on. You think we didn’t basically have an open check for Brad? And also Jay Wright if rumors were correct. I don’t think money has been our problem.
He used that exact same joke at his USF introductory presser, and it bombed. But the Providence folks seemed to think it was the funniest thing ever. The Providence coach had an all time great line in his introductory presser. if we only did it for one guy and then settled now twice then that's not going all in. Woodson nor DeVries are in that category. So you come on ... I'll wager anything we didn't
