@hoosieralum07 I still think Moody is working his way back off that ankle injury.

Woohoo!

Tonight is the big game. Where we find out if we are Big Ten and Final Four contenders or not. 😉

Harris had a very good first half but I believe he just went 0-5 from 3 to begin the second half. Karvala, Manhertz and at least one walk-on checking in after this timeout. USA/IU leads 79-32.

He's always seemed like a guy who will run hot & cold.  It's good to see him rebounding and playing D because it looks like we have a number of other 3 point options.

It sucks, but I guess we play the Virgin Islands again. 🙁

Kept hearing we'd finally get a a bit of a game from Argentina... But apparently they are horrible also. V.I. beat them in the semis. LOL

I heard it's at 4 pm. I was going to leave early but to watch Rhode Island again (sorry, Virgin Islands, Rhode Island and Archie Miller would be a stronger test.) but not going to bother for this game.

It probably means absolutely nothing for the regular season but with Burton and Prince Alexander-Moody both off the floor, Mustaf handled point on that possession and ran an interesting pick and roll with Sherrell that resulted in a dunk attempt (he was fouled) for Aiden Sherrell. Mustaf's size, physicality and versatility make him an interesting piece. Also, regardless of competition level, Aiden Sherrell is darn good.

Mustaf's highlights look great, but his efficiency # is pretty low.  Looking at his #s he shot a lot more 2s than 3s but his % was pretty low--.446 last yr, .427 career.  He was ultra-aggressive taking it to the basket, and many of his makes were of the highlight variety....but they don't show misses, so I suspect his shot selection left something to be desired.  Although his 3 pt shot is not smooth, he was pretty efficient with it (.389).

His team sucked (2-16 in the ACC), and he was the 4th leading scorer for that team, so there is that....

All that said, it looks like he played hard and was pretty fearless.  He and Moody look like the enforcers for this team.
