@arioznahoosier4554 He better get it this year.  More and more draft boards have Morez Johnson, and Mara, on them as first rounders.  He could lose quite a lot of his starting lineup.  And while I'm sure he'll reload...this combo of Lexemborg, Johnson, Mara, Cadeau... will be very, very difficult to replicate.

32 coaches in past 50 years have NCAA championships.

Not very many can do it.

well mathematically only 50 could.. so are you saying that 32 different coaches have won is a small or large number.  65% have been won by a different coach.

Mathematically, every single D1 coach from the last 50 years who stood on the sideline could have won it.  So that is 32 out of thousands, and probably 100 just in the Big Ten.

And this is the list of Big Ten coaches who have won a natty in 50 years:

Bob Knight

Jud Heathcoate

Steve Fisher

Tom Izzo

That's it.  So the idea that more than half the current coaches could win one with "their players" , is a far fetched.

Wow! That list in itself is pretty amazing. Why can the Big Ten not win it all?

NBA level guards and wings.  Certainly some exceptions, but most years that is a huge factor.

And great coaches are able to repeat, that also has to be said.  Izzo should have probably gotten a 2nd one.
