Giddy up!
Hopefully this is it regarding their eligibility. I don't know what the next steps are or whatever in this case. Ideally whatever it is, it is after the season is over.
@tammany The NCAA will likely seek an immediate appeal to the Indiana Court of Appeals and ask it to stay the injunction pending the final outcome of the appeal. If the Court of appeals issues a stay, then both would be ineligible again and likely will remain that way. If not, they likely will be eligible the remainder of the season.

@tammany I've read the 37-page Order and think it is very sound in most respects, especially as to the core issue of eligibility. The Order also requires that the portal be opened for all of the plaintiffs and would prohibit the NCAA from using the rule of institution against the schools that play these players. On those fronts, the Order might be more susceptible to reversal. Bottom line, I believe both Wyatt and Daley have a good chance of being able to play the rest of the season. The picture will be clearer once the NCAA runs to the Court of Appeals and asks for a stay, and I expect that will happen immediately.
@janitor14 I just can't for the life of me understand why the NCAA would even fight this. It seems like it really is just correcting an oversight, with the extra year for covid athletes getting 5 years, and now their new 5/5 policy. It seems it really comes down to this 1 class that didn't get 5 years. How does the NCAA defend not allowing that, when it's their new policy, and what's the cost to them if they just allow this to happen? It seems much easier to just accept there are court rulings allowing it and say "oops, this corrects an oversight on our part for this 1 year of athletes". I know many would argue they can't make sense of what the NCAA does, but this seems egregious even by their history.
@kkott The NCAA is rudderless and has backed itself into a corner where they feel compelled to challenge everything after a period of time of letting anything go. They're not well-advised or choose to ignore good advice. They should just simply acquiesce on this issue - it only affects one class and it would simply treat them as every class will be treated going forward. But they won't.
@janitor14 I just keep thinking I'm missing something because it doesn't add up.

Which District are we talking about?

More of a question for Janitor, I guess.
Joe Kidd - Luis Chama, 'One day, there was a fire...'I think that the NCAA headquarters burns down at night in a mysterious fire.
