The plaintiffs' (Daley et al.)  response to the NCAA's "emergency" motion to stay the injunction issued to plaintiffs that the NCAA recently filed with the Indiana Supreme Court is now due on October 8. I would expect a ruling shortly thereafter

Interesting,  after the Court just set a briefing schedule. The Court must have looked at the NCAA's motion a little more and decided they didn't even need to hear the other side before denying it. Well played again, NCAA.

The NCAA is winning some of these appeals in other states.  While these other cases won’t influence ours, it’s still not exactly what I’d like to see happening.

As expected, the Monroe County Court upheld its own injunction and now the NCAA sprints to the Court of Appeals (not the Indiana Supreme Court, where it was already rejected). This is the NCAA's last shot to get a court to overturn (stay, really) the injunction granting Daley et al. the right to play this season.  Should have a ruling later this week or next.
