Is it tailgating with friends and family? Being in the stadium watching the game? Heck even the end of Corn Sweat Season?

For me it's the anticipation of Saturday. I love researching the games, then talking about the games on podcasts and at tailgates.

What is your favorite part of IU Football Season?

When we win, over the following days I like listening to every postgame show and podcast for all the adulation/praise sent our way.

lol exactly this! Especially last year, when I didn’t have to avoid twitter. What a ride that was.

Packing the Rock, of course.

But also, getting a new towel each week has become a fun addition.

@tammany me too....the most fun.  Replaying all of the Cornhuskers YouTube accounts and just them crying in their milk.  Thinking that we played "no body"  and how we were going to finally play a real defense.  What a joke.  And after that every talking head said Nebraska was a no body too, and Indiana still had not played a good team.  Loved it.

I moved to Michigan ten years ago (I'm originally from New Castle) so I'm surrounded by Wolverines and Spartans.

Being able to talk shit after we beat both last year was so much fun!

I went to two games last year, Nebraska and at Michigan State, and IU played so well in both games.

I haven't picked which game I'll attend this year but I'll definitely come back down for a weekend to see my old high school play football on Friday night and then head to Memorial Stadium to tailgate and watch the Hoosiers on Saturday.

What I'm most looking forward to this upcoming season:

1.  WINNING

2.  Cig in front of a microphone

3.  The media freaking out when we are kicking everyone's ass again

4.  Beating Purdue like a drum

5.  WINNING

I bought 300 confetti sticks with red and white confetti.  Our group uses 3 or 4 sticks after each touchdown and extra point.

The Illinois and Iowa games.....they're really make or break in terms of our expectations.

I go down for one game a year and spend the weekend.  Love going to the game and walking around campus after.  Last year I took my oldest Granddaughter to the Charlotte game (see my pic).

Hoping to make it this year but still looking for work after resigning from my previous job beginning of May.  We're not hurting but I can't justify the weekend trip with no income.

Nothing beats the atmosphere of a college football game.  I just like being around it.  It's obviously a lot more fun when you're on the happy side of the W-L column, but at the end of the day it's a game that I enjoy.

And although Jr. drives me absolutely bonkers wanting to play catch endlessly at the tailgate lot for like the whole 36 hours we're there, I absolutely love being able to travel with my boy to all of these games.

There is nothing like Saturday. Even watching at home, the energy in the household booms. I cannot wait for football to simply be back - everything is better with IU football

@evanalvarez8 i have a play list of about 75 college fight songs that we play Saturday morning and get fired up for the games.  I have cut in 30 of Don Fischer's calls of some of my favorite high lite plays from as far back as the 80's just to break up the music a little bit.
