That's nice and all that...but we can/should be better!  Not to diminish what we've done, but we've not been as good as I think we can be.

@bcbranimal You said, "have not been as good as I think we can be", and I agree with that, and yet there are 7 more games to go and a lot of learning and ball to be played.  I have watched IU for 60 years and, I am ecstatic with how this team is playing, and the coaching staff is developing these players.  I am willing to see how the final product turns out and play the long game on this season. To see the above statistic is beyond amazing to me.

@spfldbill You've got me by 20 years on the fandom 😉  I didn't mean to diminish what we've done so far this year, just making an observation on how much we've left on the field.  After watching all of the post game interviews (Mendoza-Sarratt, Coogan, Fisher, Coach) I'm glad to see they feel the same.

It's nice when you can learn lessons and still win.

Kinnick is damn hard.  This was our first road game, and a serious one at that, with this year's team.

We did outgain Iowa by about 100 yards.  We have upside left in this team.

I don't know how this year finishes... maybe good maybe not as good as we want.  But right now we are in some extremely exciting times for IUFB.
