I know cig not does base his recruiting on five stars but this was a massive win for two reasons.
1. We just won the title so we should be able to now get five stars and it proves we can.
2. This being a Indiana guy made it even more important to get him. It also proves we can compete with the big boys.

It is what we have often said when we weren't getting top recruits.
While funny coming from bama fans due to having a history of getting the best ranked players, it isn't inaccurate. Rankings only matter to the extent in which they are accurate. There are a lot of good players that fall through the cracks and don't get ranked or not accurately ranked. so you cant really judge a player or class by what the media says
What really matters is the player evaluation by the staff. We are lucky to have a staff that prioritizes the right traits and fit with the team. Looking for players that want to get better and be developed on top of being a good athlete.
