Is women's college basketball so deep that just making the tournament is a big deal? The season record sort of fell off a cliff.
If Dolson has some great chops he should be able to raise the NIL they need?
It fell off of a cliff last year. That's one year. Not 'a couple years', as he stated. They were a 9-seed. Beat the 8-seed. Lost to the defending champ/national runner-up in close fashion to end 2025. They were far from mediocre. Were they as good as they had been the 2-3 years prior? No. Did they lose their two best players in the history of the program during that span? Yes. And do they have a top ten recruiting class this year? Yes, they do.Is women's college basketball so deep that just making the tournament is a big deal? The season record sort of fell off a cliff.

This makes me sick to my stomach. I hope it absolutely blows up in their faces. 3x-4x increases in prices, plus forced gifts and licensing fees.
Sporting events are becoming a rich mans game if you want to attend either that or you go into debt to see games. What does it cost to see an nfl game like 300 a game for crap seats now? Pretty much why I rarely attend events live anymore I just watch on tv.

With Rev share being such a big thing, I assume an AD has to figure out how to maximize every opportunity to make $$. The other option is cutting non-revenue programs. Probably only gets worse from here.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.
