I'm starting to think Day is a B-level coach who's fortunate to have A+ talent. Way too conservative, especially with an NFL WR tandem. In no world should Tate and Smith ever have single-digit targets in a game.
I've been saying this for years..... Day is like the kid who started on third base yet everyone acts like his home runs, but never his strike-outs, are because he's great at what he does.... bull shit, he inherited everything. Any halfway decent coach should be able to take the out-of-this-world resources and mega talent that OSU has and have his record.... A real coach can build a program from scratch... like CCC. Day is so overrated.

Watching Miami outphysical OSU was startling. After watching UM beat A&M, it was clear they were going to be a tough out for OSU, but watching them win the battle up front was pretty incredible.
