Curious, we know Fernando is QB1 but how has Alberto been looking so far as QB2?  Also, thought I saw Bebe was a non-participant today, any word on his availability?

@bbh42 We are not supposed to comment on who participated and who didn’t. Do you mind me asking where you saw it?

@bbh42 Alberto has solidified himself at QB2. He throws a really good ball. We haven’t seen any real “team” stuff, but he is much improved.

@thehoosierhuddle saw it on Twitter earlier this morning from one of the other sites reporting.  Looks like they took the Tweet down so they either posted it incorrectly or realized their error and corrected it.

It was a clip of the RB's running through a contact sled and show Black and Hemby and it stated that Bebe was a non-participant but looks like its no longer on Twitter

@bbh42 I am sure IU told them to take it down.

I’m curious if you can tell how good a team will be based on preseason camp observations. I wonder how IU stacks up against an Alabama or Georgia right now.

@iugradman some people can tell. It’s hard only seeing drills on air and not the team parts, but there are signs you look for.

I can’t compare two teams I’ve never seen practice

So assuming you're one of those people, what do you look for?

@unclemark a number of things.

1) How does the practice run (do people know what to do, where to go, what the standard is)

2) Focus and energy (Are guys getting into the rep quickly, taking coaching, helping each other)

3) Are the goals of the drill being met

4) Finally just talent (you need a baseline, but you can tell who has the tools pretty easily) but talent doesn’t translate to performance.

I usually pick a position group to focus on.
