Top 15 program yes, but they seam to think they deserve the Saban's, Smart's, and Cignetti's of this world. If they're not winning a NC every 2 years, they're calling for the coach's head. Yes, it was time for Freeze to go but I just don't know who would want to come to Auburn that is a 'tier 1 coach'. Just like the last two times, the incoming coach knows it's not his program. It's the BoT, AD, and the fans. Have a bad game or 2 and they want to know who's calling the plays and tell them what to call. That was Gus Malzahn's problem. He didn't stay true to himself. He changed his offense based on the AD's direction. Never should've been fired.

I'm on the forums, and the fb sites. Auburn fans seam a little preoccupied with who calls the offensive plays. Completely run by the BoT. Gus had just gone to the NC game and 2 games into the season they're bitching about who is calling the plays. Same thing with Freeze, but to be fair his offense was hot garbage. It's like talking to Purdue fans. About the only thing they have a good tradition of is losing to double digit seeds in the NCAA tournament. Make no mistake about it tho, if Durkin wins out and beats bamma, he will be the next head coach of Auburn.
