I hope Mendoza lives up to the hype. Sounds like he might. 

I don't expect better than Rourke though except hopefully health. Rourke was elite for us. Many big plays. Was even still a decent scrambler through first half of the B1G season. Mendoza though should be a better runner.

Until the thumb injury for Rourke, plus seeming to aggravate the knee later in the year. Both really dragged him down. He was still very good, but not elite. At Ohio State much was on the staff for the unfathomable failure on the silent count.

Competition between Gandy & Sharpe will obviously make both players better. Gandy is a great get for the defense.
