Starting to look like ND paid for some refs…
No overturn on the kickoff fumble recovery (where the guy clearly didn’t have control when his foot went out of bounds) and no call on the obvious pass interference…
My thoughts concerning ND.....
--Carr sure did not look like the Heisman favorite.
--I had ND as my preseason favorite to win the NC. But, Carr's not as good as advertised, and their TBs are a huge dropoff from last years studs. WRs looked very quick but smallish....no one looked like a Becker or a Marsh physically.
--They do look like they have a top 5-6 D. Their defensive backfield is very talented.
I dunno, Alberto is playing in games and learning. He couldn’t do that here. I think he made the right move.
Alberto looked good, but Josh Hoover looked much better. Still, Alberto deserved better. That's a horrible GT team. Why no called rushing plays for Alberto? Also, don't remember any scrambling on his part. Wth?
He rolled his ankle fairly early on. I think that limited him a bit.
@hoosier-clarion I think that's a popular sentiment among IU faithful, but honestly I don't see him coming back to IU. My guess is he'll feel snubbed that he didn't get the commitment for this year and will stay at GT, or maybe.... Miami? I think Cig is very pragmatic that way and probably didn't burn any bridges, but not everyone is that way.

--Ole Miss over UL 41-38 in a neutral site game.
--LSU 51-10 over Clemson. Has to be #1 win for the SEC WE.
--Alabama 48-10 over E. Carolina, which was 9-4 last year.
--UK 45-13 over Youngstown St, who was 8-5 last year.
--Auburn 17-16 over Baylor, who was 5-7 last year.
--Vandy 28-9 over Austin Peay, which was 7-5 last year.
--Texas 59-7 over TX State, which was7-6 last year.
--TX A&M 50-0 over Missouri St., which was 7-6 last year.
--TENN 56-9 over Furman, who was 6-6 last year.
--S. Carolina 57-0 over Kent St, which 5-7 last year.
--Florida 66-21 over FAU, which was 4-8 last year.
--Miss State 62-13 over UL Monroe, which was 3-9 last year.
--Missouri 54-14 over Ark Pine-Bluff, which was 3-8 last year.
--Oklahoma 51-0 over UTEP< which was 2-10 last year.
--GA 63-3 over TENN St, which was 2-10 last year.
--Arkansas 31-14 over N. Alabama, which was 2-10 last year.
