Very impressed with Alberto so far…
Illinois in a one score struggle mode against UAB on BTN at the half.
ESPN app apparently broke, not displaying the box score for me to get his stats thus far.
A tale as old as time, a QBs best friend might just be a 6'9" TE also.
Alberto played well but GT got their asses whipped on the line of scrimmage.
Alberto shoulda stayed…
Having a left tackle who looks like his mind is on something else doesn’t bode well for his long term health…
That and a defense that can’t get it done when it counts and he’s about to learn how the other half lives.
That was Not what I expected from a Key coached team… Line play used to be his signature, now they look like they didn’t bother to practice on both sides of the ball.
At least Alberto has shown what he can do so he can get paid at his next stop…
You'd think they're playing 1st game of the season.
I dunno, Alberto is playing in games and learning. He couldn’t do that here. I think he made the right move.
King was getting beat to hell and running for his life at the end of last season.
As someone who's seen many games at Bobby Dodd, it's confusing GT didn't make any headway improving their O-line.
All these games make me appreciate how well coached IU is
Yep. Makes so many other teams look sloppy AF. I bought Peach Bowl tix last year at halftime of the OK v Bama game, because both teams were so sloppy, I was like there is no way either of these teams are beating us in the Rose Bowl. Heck, the NC game was probably the sloppiest game IU played in the post season.
- GT looked a heck of a lot better in last years “first game of the season”.
They’ll never get more practice time to get ready for a game than they had for that one : Spring Ball, the entire summer, & Fall Camp…
Alberto and his receivers looked ready… What happened to everyone else???
Alberto is definitely a commanding QB. Not afraid of the big throws. He can cut his teeth in Georgia this season then back to Indiana to sharpen them on real meat.
Purdue sucks again.
Beat me to it…
Looks like they have better receivers but it’s had to tell because they’re playing against a just slightly better than average high school secondary…
Their Super Bowl will be against Wake Forest next week and they might actually have a slight shot given that WF may have lost their top offensive threat to injury. After that game things look Very grim for the toy train lovers… 🤣😎
All the players who went there to win championships; off game?
