Generally speaking, the B1G is underperforming from top to bottom. Of course a few teams are exceptions. And it's still early.

Personally I don't care much about the conference rivalry stuff. It's a fun sideshow.
The impact on IU is hard to tell. If we get things on track, maybe the weaker conference helps our record, though it could also hurt our seeding. Overall, the fate of IUFB is still 98% in the hands of IUFB and we have a lot of big games to play... so I'm not gonna worry about the conference right now.

It was despicable to watch. The producers must have been in his ear, because at the end of the segment they went back to him, and he tried to clean up his comments and finally state the obvious.

Isn't this the same guy they were talking about during the game, about how he was burnt out as a HC but had found his love for the game again as DC? If so, Smith must have stolen that Love sometime in the first half.
