disagree with your first half. Fernando was off. His accuracy wasn’t there on several throws that just plain missed. One towards Omar on the sideline comes to mind. I think one over the middle to Becker was also overthrown. And his decisions were suspect at time throwing into coverage. He could have had a couple picks very easily. in my mind, he was trying too hard to make the big play and forgot that discretion is often the better part of valor.
I do agree with your second part. Once it became clear the run game was working, sticking with it.

It has seemed to me that Fernando hasnt improved in the second half of the season. But Coach repeatedly says he has.
OK. Ill believe coach. But it doesnt show a lot in the games. He still cant drop a deep one in as well as Rourke. He stunk early against Purdue. Got better.
