If we had them last year on neutral field instead of us having to deal with the silent count and them not, might have been different. Same against Notre Dame too.
@openwheel I don't think so. Last season was historic, to be sure, but IU reached their ceiling; they didn’t have the depth in the trenches (most notably) to hang with OSU and ND unless they played flawless, A+ football.
But ... last season was a huge step toward Number F***ing 1.

Of course they would be favored. But we would have won some of them. Thats why I said outcomes might have been different. Which I know is obvious, but talking heads dont get it.
