Bruce Feldman's annual "CFB Freaks" list is out and IU running back Kaelon Black made the cut. He apparently has a 40-inch vertical, can bench press 415 pounds and can squat north of 500 pounds. Does it "mean" anything? Not really. But it's cool for IU to be included (as they were last season with Jailin Walker) and the buzz surrounding Kaelon Black continues. He was a forgotten man by some when Roman Hemby and Lee Beebe were brought in but he will be a major factor for the Hoosiers this coming season, no question about it.
415 bench is so insane.
l felt he ran the hardest of all of our backs last year, always breaking tackles and forever falling forward. He may not have been the most skilled of our backs but the dude could punish would be tacklers!Bruce Feldman's annual "CFB Freaks" list is out and IU running back Kaelon Black made the cut. BEAT PURDUE
I thought Black looked the best of the backs in the spring game. I’m looking for some big things from him this year.
Hopefully Kaelon replaces our power runner, TySon Lawton, with power runs of his own.
Black should be our best running option inside the five yard line.
