What are the remaining big targets that are at the top of the list outside of Sales. I thought I read that Kal-el is not expected to pick us on here. If not, any OL targets at the top of the list? How are we feeling about Davion Jones? Between a couple roles and coming home to a 2 year old, my keeping a finger on the pulse has been lackluster.

Exactly the opposite of what I would’ve expected. Figured they’d use the last few spots on any big dogs they could land. After what we’ve seen these last years though, who are any of us to question this staff? I think his announcement dropped the class from Top 30 to 44. Big deal.
@bucketgetter Pugh hasn’t even been evaluated yet, so he drags the score down. It’s why I really don’t get wrapped up in recruiting rankings like others.

@irregulars Yep, that immediately jumped out to me. Funny that signing another kid actually drops our ranking. I know it's a "formula" but you'd think they'd recognize after the last 2 years, IU has reset the formula. With what they've shown they can do with less heralded recruits, adding any kid should at minimum not hurt the rating. Don't know beans about this kid, but with his size, multi-sport athlete and a state champion wrestler, easy to believe he could be another contributor they identified early.
@kkott - Personally, I hope our recruiting ranking is as low as they can make it. That way it just further cements Cig's dynasty as a developer and makes it even harder to resist coming to IU in the future.

@tammany interesting. There have been complaints on social media about On3 doing stuff like that to engage two fan bases. I don’t know if it’s intentional or Greg knows something Steve doesn’t.
