What was cool to me last year was we seemed to use that strong run game more against the toughest opponents. About the time I'd be asking for a pass because the defense was playing us so stout against the run, Shanahan would stay with it a couple more times ... and it would work. (Or, throw to Becker. LOL )

This should be our most balanced offense yet. We will miss Sarratt and Cooper for sure on moving the chains but might be more explosive downfield. Maybe the backs catch a few more balls to move the chains. Rourke, Mendoza, both were elite QBs, now Hoover will be in his own style. ;D

@thehoosierhuddle So what Cig said (no surprise!) does basically hold true that we were more balanced and closer to 50/50 when it counted and the 60/40 ratio was skewed about 7% pts because we ran more to run out the clock in the 2nd half.
