@kkott nope. I couldn’t find the game on TV. Brownsburg won, Sharpe looked great. Sales looked great, but stats suffered because his QB under threw him a number of times

Gonna try and go see Jalathyan Mayfield this year sometime too. He plays about 45 minutes away from me. Believe he had 13 tackles and a fumble recovery for a TD in a 30-10 win in their first game.

@tammany Sounds like Sharpe stood out too! I'm a production guy and he produced. I know the Indy Star HS guy (Niedenrap??) feels strongly that Sharpe will be a big contributor at IU. Felt like when discussing he and Sales he stopped himself from saying he thought they'd both be contributors as freshmen.
@tammany Definitely need a QB to get you the ball. One of the reasons I'm so looking forward to seeing what Marsh can do this year!
I watched it via this new invention called an Over The Air antenna. Here’s my summary:
Brownsburg D-Line dominated the LN O-Line. The LN QB spent most of the night running for his life. That was the big contributor to his stat line.
Sharpe’s long TD catch was a thing of beauty. The Brownsburg QB laid it out perfectly for him to run & get it.
Brownsburg is really good (again) & LN has some Week 1 issues to work out.
@rattmouse What did you think of the Brownsburg RB? He look as good as his stats? Although 35 carries is a lot. Sounds like they were just running the ball because they were in control.
@kkott Correct. Brownsburg kept running due to the score & the fact LN could do nothing to stop it.
The RB (Lewis?) is probably 5’ 9” & 180-190. Not a burner, but not a plodder either. He just puts his foot in the ground, runs downhill, & finishes runs. I doubt he’s a D1 player, but definitely can play D2 or D3.
