I have added my working Google Doc to this thread so everyone can see the scholarship breakdown by class, the depth chart and all the walk ons as of this date.

This will change as IU adds more players in the portal and includes the KOS from Ireland they just added.

Also, until it is known for a fact what players like Fernando Mendoza or Carter Smith (etc.) are doing next year, I'm leaving them on this current iteration but will remove once they declare their intentions...that will also change the scholarship numbers page.

Thanks for assembling the information. From a numbers perspective it seems we could benefit from a couple more on the OL.

Is Bryson Bonds 100% not using his medical redshirt to return?

@olympian97

i'm pretty confident in bonds and turner being done. not 100% but at least for now, i'm operating under the assumption they're done and will add them if things change.

With the graduation of Jonathan Brady, are there any players on the current roster that could fill his role as return specialist?

Good question, Mike. Incoming freshman Lavar Keys did returns in HS, so he may be an candidate.

I've seen a highlight video of Keys doing some return work in high school and he may well be a possibility. Was checking the roster to see if any of the current players had collegiate return experience. When he was at Michigan, Tyler Morris returned a a total of 15 punts so he could also be in the mix. We'll have to see how he comes back from his injury.

Off topic a little, but kudos to Brady. He has been money this year as a punt returner. He's so solid at it I've been very surprised he hasn't been the kickoff returner. I think Hemby is fine though. Brady made a couple grabs against OSU too. Was glad he got to be in there. Good depth!

Correct, Brady was more than solid.  Held up his end of ST's consistently and then some.  Absolutely no bitch.

Seeing him celebrate with Becker on the sidelines after the big TD against Oregon shows he came here just to win.  He is all in on his role with the team.

You’d have to think that with LeBron Bond being a receiver and one of the fastest guys on the team he would have to be in line for that role to return kicks.

For a new man Bond is certainly my lean into conjecture.  Have to be able to make fast accurate decisions.
