Indiana Quarterback Michael Penix to Miss the Remainder of the Season

The Indiana football program announced in a press release on Tuesday evening that starting quarterback Michael Penix will miss the remainder of the 2019 season after having surgery to correct a sternoclavicular joint injury . Penix started six games for the Hoosiers this season and completed 68.75-percent of his passes for 1,394 yards, 10 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Penix missed time earlier in the season with two other injuries and was sidelined after just three games with an ACL tear in 2018.
