At their annual event introducing the newest recruiting class to hundreds of Hoosier fans the Indiana football program announced several important updates including the dates for the start of spring football and the spring game as well as a coaching staff change.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana safety Jonathan Crawford, long snapper Dan Godsil and offensive tackle Brandon Knight will participate in the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium from Tuesday-Monday, Feb. 26-March 4. This is third time in four years (2018 – program record 5, 2016 – 4) at least three Hoosiers have received invitations to the NFL's showcase event.

After a terrific early signing period that saw Indiana position themselves for their best on-paper recruiting class in history, the Hoosiers added a pair of prospects on National Signing Day and currently sit at 38th on the 247Sports class rankings. Tom Allen and his staff secured the talents of Pennsylvania offensive lineman Tim Weaver and Florida safety Josh Sanguinetti as both signed their National Letter of Intent on Wednesday.

The Hoosiers once again reached down to the Sunshine State to bolster their recruiting class. Three-star safety Josh Sanguinetti, out of University School in Fort Lauderdale, has signed with the Hoosiers. IU had been in the market for another safety in this class and landed a solid prospect. His six-foot-two frame reminds some of former Hoosier Jonathan Crawford and if he is anywhere close to where Crawford was as a Hoosier, IU found a gem.

Tim Weaver, 6’5”, 285 pounds, Hellertown, PA (Saucon Valley.), Safety, 247Sports Composite Ranking H.S.: 3-star (83.15)
The offensive line was a priority for the Hoosiers ahead National Signing Day. Tim Weaver has been classified as a late bloomer and committed to the Hoosiers on February 2nd after taking an official visit on January 25th.

With the February signing period just a few days away the eyes of IU football fans have been watching social media for commitments. On Saturday afternoon the Hoosiers landed their 20th commitment for the 2019 signing class as Tim Weaver, a six-foot-five offensive lineman out of Hellertown, Pennsylvania.
