Indiana sported the Big Ten’s best passing attack in 2015, and they could use some bigger bodies at the receiver position. While Phil Benker isn’t 6’7” or even 6’4”, he is a solid 6’2”, which should added some much needed length at the receiver position for IU.

There are a few new players that figure to help the defense improve, and one of them is Jayme Thompson. A former four-star recruit and Ohio State Buckeye, Thompson transferred and spent last season at Iowa Western Community College after redshirting in his only year at OSU. He chose Indiana over offers from 10 other schools including Iowa State, Miami (FL), and Western Kentucky.

After spending last season at Cisco College in Texas, Lagow comes to Bloomington looking to win the starting QB gig and keep Indiana’s high-octane offense at the top of the conference for the next two seasons. Lagow signed his letter of intent back in December, and will have all of spring ball to win the spot heading into the summer. Lagow chose IU over other offers from Colorado State, Memphis, and UNLV.
