2016 National Signing Day Hoosier Profile: Safety Jayme Thompson

Exit Brian Knorr, enter Tom Allen. After another season of historically subpar defense, new defensive coordinator Tom Allen has his work cut out for him. Without much time to recruit at Indiana, he will have to turn the defense around using mostly returning players. There are a few new players that figure to help the defense improve, and one of them is Jayme Thompson. A former four-star recruit and Ohio State Buckeye, Thompson transferred and spent last season at Iowa Western Community College after redshirting in his only year at OSU. He chose Indiana over offers from 10 other schools including Iowa State, Miami (FL), and Western Kentucky.

2016 National Signing Day Hoosier Profile: QB Richard Lagow

After a record-breaking season under center, Nate Sudfeld has graduated and leaves Indiana with the daunting task of replacing him next season. Enter Richard Lagow. After spending last season at Cisco College in Texas, Lagow comes to Bloomington looking to win the starting QB gig and keep Indiana’s high-octane offense at the top of the conference for the next two seasons. Lagow signed his letter of intent back in December, and will have all of spring ball to win the spot heading into the summer. Lagow chose IU over other offers from Colorado State, Memphis, and UNLV.
