As the Indiana Hoosiers hit the field for their second practice of the spring, a handful of recruits will be descending upon Bloomington for unofficial visits. Seven prospects, we could not dig up anything on Jeff Scott, will be on campus to take in the sights and sounds of IU. So let’s take a look at who will be making the rounds in B-Town this weekend.

Jango Glacking, Linebacker, Lebanon, OH, 247 Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star

Glacking has prototypical size to play linebacker at the next level in a Power-Five conference at 6-2 215 lbs. He is ranked by 247 Sports Composite as the 653rd best prospect in the nation and the 50th best outside linebacker. He is playing his high school football at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. He has the strength to shed blocks and get to the quarterback as well as the ball skills to make some plays in coverage. Glacking has offers from 12 schools other than Indiana, including West Virginia, Akron, Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Western Michigan, and several other MAC schools. 247’s Crystal Ball has him committing to West Virginia who he visits on March 31st. Check out his highlights here.

Peyton Ramsey, Quarterback, Cincinnati, OH, 247 Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star

The Hoosiers are actively looking for the guy that is going to have to replace Nate Sudfeld when he exhausts his eligibility at the end of this season. Ramsey is a potential candidate for that honor. He is a 6-3 pro-style quarterback who is ranked as the 22nd best prospect in the state of Ohio and the 31st best pro-style quarterback in the nation. Ramsey has great size to play in the Big Ten as well as the arm strength to make all the throws. His best attribute maybe his lightning quick release. In addition to IU, Ramsey has offers from ACC members Boston College and Wake Forest as well as his hometown Cincinnati and Big Ten Rival Illinois. Ramsey also holds offers from MAC schools Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, and Miami (OH). You can view Ramsey’s junior year highlights here.

Ethan Tucky, Outside Linebacker, Deleware, OH, 247 Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star

Tucky is a big time prospect who has kind of gone under the radar in terms of offers, he only holds offers from six school (Boston College, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Kentucky, Miami (OH), and Toledo). He is the 13th best prospect out of Ohio and the 26th best outside linebacker in the nation. At 6-2 210 lbs he has the size for the next level. Tucky also has pretty good speed off the edge and could be an impact player as soon as he hits a campus. Currently he does not hold an offer from Indiana and 247 Sports’ crystal ball has him going to Kentucky with 53% of the predictions, closely followed by Ohio State with 42%. His junior year highlights can be seen here.

Gunnar Hoak, Quarterback, Dublin, OH, 247 Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star

The 6-4 gunslinger could be a perfect fit for the Kevin Wilson spread attack, as he possesses a big arm and 4.61 speed in the 40-yard dash. Hoak had an outstanding junior season, which saw him complete 65.5% percent of his passes for 2,584 yards and 30 touchdowns. He is ranked as the 51st best player in Ohio, which has a very deep quarterback class in 2016, as well as the 53rd best pro-style quarterback prospect in the country. Hoak has offers from Cincinnati, Toledo, Kent State, Buffalo, and Bowling Green. As seen on his highlight tape Hoak can make teams pay with his touch in the passing game as well as his power in the running game.

Alfonzo Lambert, Inside Linebacker, Auburn, IL, 247 Composite Ranking: No Ranking

Lambert is a long shot prospect at linebacker at 6-0 and 187 lbs. while running a 5.11 40-yard dash. He is not ranked by any of the major services. There is some upside if Lambert can improve his numbers from his highlight tape.

Barrington Wade, Running Back, Skokie, IL, 247 Composite Ranking: 3-Star

Wade is a big running back that possesses 4.5-speed and can be the next in line of great running backs in the Kevin Wilson offense. He has a high motor and great effort level. Wade is ranked as the 20th best prospect from Illinois and the 56th best running back prospect in the nation. He holds offers from Iowa, Ball State, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, and Bowling Green. View Wade's four-game highlight tape here.
