Safety Jonathan Crawford Earns Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week Honors.
/Over the first three games of his brief career at IU, safety Jonathan Crawford has already has made a major impact in the Hoosier secondary. This week he war rewarded for his two interception, four tackle performance in IU's 38-35 win over WKU by being named the Big Ten's Co-Freshman of the Week.
Crawford is the first Hoosier to win this honor since linebacker Tegray Scales won it last year after his performance in IU's upset win at Missouri. He is also the first true freshman since Mitchell Evans to record two interceptions in a game. On the season Crawford is third on the team in tackles (18) and first in interceptions (2).
