If a Knight from Noblesville sounds familiar, it is because it should. Cameron Knight, brother of former Hoosier and current Dallas Cowboy Brandon Knight, committed to play his college football for Tom Allen and the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday evening. He made his announcement via Twitter with a brief message:

Beyond excited to announce that I have committed to Indiana University to further my academic and football career. #LEO

Knight, listed at six-foot-three and 270 pounds, is the fourth commitment to IU’s 2020 class which is ranked 52nd in the nation by 247Sports Composite at the time of publishing. He is listed as a two-star prospect at guard. However, if he can follow in his brother’s foot steps, he will be a fine prospect for the Hoosiers. The newest Knight has only two offers, IU and Ball State.

Cameron’s brother, Brandon was a three-star recruit who turned into one of the stalwarts along the offensive line between 2015 and 2018 as he started 26 of his 41 games at tackle and tight end (freshman year).

Looking at Cameron Knight’s HUDL tape, he played at tackle at Noblesville, but will likely slide inside at IU. He’s very athletic and has the foot skills coaches look in linemen.
