Nebraska Defensive Coordinator Mark Banker Accuses Indiana of Stealing Defensive Signals

As if the Indiana Hoosiers football team needed more to get fired up about Saturday's homecoming clash against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Late on Tuesday night Nebraska reporter Brian Rosenthal tweeted out that Huskers' defensive coordinator Mark Banker was "pretty frank today about Indiana 'doing whatever they can do' to steal defensive signals."
That's a pretty steep accusation against a Hoosier offense that ranks eighth in the conference in scoring (26.6 ppg), fourth in total offense (453.6 ypg), first in passing (293 ypg), and ninth in rushing (160.6 ypg). Banker went on to say "If they don’t get them during the game, they get them during the snap, and then actually call the play at the line of scrimmage."
How did the Nebraska defensive mind come across this information? Well, he had his inside sources apparently.
Banker did go on to say that signal stealing is nothing new and he did not seem to be bothered by it, his comments are sure to fire up a fan base that will be celebrating homecoming. I would expect the IU student section to have fun with this both before the game at BTN Tailgate and during the game that kicks off at 3:30pm on ABC.
