Josh Sanguinetti Returns to IU From the Transfer Portal

The Indiana Hoosiers received good news on Friday night as veteran defensive Josh Sanguinetti announced that he was returning to IU to play another season of football. Sanguinetti has appeared in 27 games for the Hoosiers since 2019.

Sanguinetti will help IU’s secondary immensely as there was a lot of attrition after the 2022 season. In his 27 games at IU, Sanguinetti made 48 tackles had eight pass deflections and two interceptions. He should be in line for a starting role for the 2023 season.
